Wiesloch, November 7, 2025 – The MLP Group intends focussing the business at the Group company Deutschland.Immobilien (DI), thereby making it less susceptible to risk. As a result, and given the otherwise dynamic growth in business across the entire MLP Group, the MLP Group is increasing its mid-term EBIT planning for the end of 2028 to between EUR 140 and 155 million, compared to the previous range of EUR 140 to 150 million in EBIT. Today MLP also reported a reduction of MLP Group’s forecast for the financial year 2025 in an ad hoc announcement.
The intended focussing of DI primarily involves a concentration on the real estate brokerage business. This provides, in particular, MLP’s clients with access to real estate investment opportunities and thus constitutes an essential part of MLP's holistic advisory concept.
As part of this business focussing, Deutschland.Immobilien will no longer set up any new real estate development projects in which it is itself responsible for construction. However, existing real estate development projects shall be completed. This step expectably reduces the risk exposure in the DI business model significantly. At the same time, the step enables DI to pool existing personnel resources for the completion of ongoing projects and to utilise them for further business activities.
DI will continue to develop concepts, for example for property developers, general contractors and the institutional sales market. As a service provider, it will thus prepare the entire development process of a real estate project, while responsibility for construction will rest with these parties.
The business focussing is still subject to the approval of the Supervisory Board of MLP SE.
The adjusted EBIT forecast for the MLP Group for 2025 amounts to EUR 90 to 100 million, previously it was EUR 100 to 110 million. The adjustment was made despite a strong third quarter of 2025, in which the EBIT of the MLP Group was EUR 18.3 million, above the good previous year's comparison period (EUR 17.8 million).
