Wiesloch, March 17, 2020 – The German Financial Planning Standards Board e. V. (FPSB) has accredited or re-accredited two degree courses at the MLP Corporate University (CU) for five years each: The "Financial Planner (CU)" degree course has been offered by MLP since 2012 and serves as preparation for certification as a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP); the "Financial Advisor (CU)" degree course is new in the curriculum and prepares for certification as a European Financial Advisor EFA®.

CFP® is the highest internationally recognised training standard for financial consultants. The MLP Corporate University in Wiesloch has been accredited by the FPSB for qualification as CFP® since 2012. In addition to the CU, other accredited educational institutions are the European Business School (EBS), the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and the Akademie Deutscher Genossenschaften ADG e. The "Financial Advisor (CU)" degree is a new course offered by MLP as of this year. Consultants with this degree can be certified as a European Financial Advisor EFA® – this Europe-wide certificate is awarded to financial services providers and people in consultancy professions who are among the best in the market in terms of training, experience and ethical aspirations. Certification as a CFP® can be acquired on the basis of the EFA®. Around 1,400 people are currently certified as an EFA® in Germany.
