Supervisory Board of MLP AG extends contract of Manfred Bauer

Wiesloch, 18th August 2014 – The Supervisory Board of MLP AG has unanimously extended the existing service contract of Manfred Bauer, which expires on 30th April 2015, by five years to 2020. Within the company, the 53-year old carries overall responsibility for product management and has been a member of the Executive Board since 2010.

Manfred Bauer began his professional career at MLP in 1986. In the following years he held various senior management positions, culminating in his role as Chief Executive Officer of MLP Versicherung AG. In 2005, MLP sold this subsidiary to the Gothaer Group, since when it has operated under the name of Janitos Versicherung AG. Manfred Bauer remained as Chief Executive Officer of Janitos Versicherung AG until his return to MLP.
