Manfred Bauer to assume director’s position on the MLP Executive Board as from May 1st

Wiesloch, 27th April 2010 - Manfred Bauer will be assuming his position on the Executive Board at MLP AG with effect from May 1, 2010. Bauer’s former employer, Janitos Versicherung AG, and MLP have agreed upon the corresponding terms. As announced in March, Bauer will be responsible on the MLP Executive Board for the product management and procurement division. The contract runs for a period of five years.

Manfred Bauer worked at MLP in different management functions between 1986 and 2005, the last of which as Chief Executive Officer for MLP Versicherung AG. This subsidiary was sold by MLP to the Gothaer Group in 2005, where it has since been operating under Janitos Versicherung AG.
